Well today I did workout #2 YEAH!!! It was sooooooooo hard! I always thought that the hardest part of running for me, besides mental is the breathing and catching my wind and whatnot...but today....my body was SCREAMING at me halfway through! The only way I was able to get through it all was because Lauren was there pushing me a long!! But the hardest is over now!
This evening after drinking TONS of water and ibprofen I can actually move around and not feel like I am going to fall over. (This morning it hurt to just get into the van!) I did my lunges (I will admit there were some tears) and abs and then push ups...
Nathan was really excited when I told him he could take pictures....Kimball of course had to get into it, so he jumped on me while I was doing crunches!! OUCH!
He did jump on my back while I did the plank, but this pic he was trying to do it in front of me....I don't think he gets it.
You can't see it very well from this picture but I am on my knees, but they are shoved WAY back! So a very hard knee push. (I did try it on the wall...it was hard, but harder on the floor and I thought that Laura would like it better if I did it on the floor)
Thankfully with the lunges Kimball couldn't jump on me. I think I would have fallen over!!
I have a question....with everyone working out....do you get REALLY cold afterwards????? Today I put on sweats...and this HUGE sweater (It is one of the few items of clothing that makes me feel small because I swim in it). This afternoon I was wearing gloves!! And my house is set at 72 degrees. Anyway just wondering.....
So my points:
Workout #2 - 5pts
Posting: 1pt
Sprints: Are you kidding me???? Has anyone done these?
No extra time: 1 pt (This was my goal today, not to add any more walking time)
Running on indoor track : 1 pt (Holy cow this was sooo much harder....although I had a cheering section! They were "larger" men. I think they were happy that a "large" woman was running with the skinnies! Lauren knows them, they are nice)
Posting pic: 1pt
Total: 9pts (Holy crap is that right???)
Tomorrow I plan on doing my workout 3, since Saturday is Brandon's Baptism and I will have a million things to do as well as entertain family....which you all know that you are MORE than welcomed to come right???

Good job!! I'm seriously impressed!
You did great! and I am sorry you cried... but just think- NO MORE LUNGES!! wahoo!
LOL I know all there is tomorrow is the 3 miles!! CAKE!!
As far as the cold thing. I think you need more fluids. Water before, during, and after your workout helps you maintain a good blood pressure flow during your workout. Which will help keep you warm. Also eat a small snack,(healthy carbs) after your workout to help your body replace glycogen to your muscles. And then shower and get the sweat off your body and into clean dry clothes as soon as possible after your workout to keep your skin from getting chilled. Since sweat is your bodies natural coolant. ;) From everything i read this should get better in time, as your heart gets stronger. next time you see your Dr. ask about it.
